- which of your products/services they affect,
- the products/services of others they use (connections)
- answers to statements
Once on the Internal Process tab, you can add an internal process in the same way you would add a product/service. Their characteristics are:
- they don't show in general search results,
- they are subject to ranking and transparency calcs,
- others cannot connect your internal process to their products and services. Your internal processes can be connected only to your products and services.
- once connected to your products and services, people browsing them will be able to see your internal processes with details like ranking and transparency,
Example
An organization makes two products: peanut butter made in a facility in Texas and potato snacks made in a facility in Idaho. The production process of the Texas facility would be set up as an internal process associated with the peanut butter (IP1). The production process of the Idaho facility would be set up as another internal process (IP2), this time associated with the potato snacks. Peanuts and potatoes are taken from suppliers who registered them as their products on Planetarian. Once all is set up, there should be two independent relationship chains:
peanuts ---> IP1 ---> peanut butter
potatoes ---> IP2 ---> potato snacks
