A while back I had to sign an agreement with a cell phone operator. When collecting a signed copy from me, the assistant mentioned that I need to be careful, because a few optional services are switched on by default. The services are free for the first month, but I would need to start paying if I don't switch them off manually.
Had the assistant not warned me, I would not even think about checking my profile for these services. I would probably notice them on my bill once the free period is over. This practice is a good topic for a statement or two.
In addition, the price of the plan is lower if I allow the operator to contact me with their marketing offers.

  5. Yes, customer is NOT informed in writing AND cannot opt out (switch off) these services at any time, including the moment of signing the agreement

There is a price difference if customer agrees to receive marketing offers
