API stands for Application Programming Interface.
As a direct outcome of our policy to prioritize impact over revenue, Planetarian doesn't display adds. We don't need to worry about the number of visitors on our website. Our API is meant to enable other websites (e.g. online stores) to show Planetarian ranking of a product/service they are selling or hosting.
